BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Authorities have arrested two men suspected of attempting to break into gun shops in Melbourne and Rockledge, linking them to the incidents through surveillance footage and vehicle tracking.
Camren Nasir Williams, 18, of Rockledge, and Julien J. Chalk, 22, of Cocoa, are facing armed burglary charges following an investigation by police detectives from Rockledge and Melbourne.
The first attempted burglary occurred on October 10 at Sicarios Gun Shop on North Wickham Road in Melbourne.

Surveillance footage reportedly captured a Nissan pulling up to the store, with three masked individuals exiting and approaching the entrance. However, they were unsuccessful in breaking into the shop.
Later that same day, a second incident was reported at Red Dot Shooting Inc. on Richard Road in Rockledge. The shop owner discovered a shattered office window and reviewed security footage that showed a red Nissan arriving at the location.
One suspect, wearing a white hoodie and black gloves, exited the vehicle, while another, later identified as Williams, was seen wearing a black ski mask. According to reports, Williams fired three shots at the window before attempting to break it by kicking. The suspects then fled the scene.

Detectives traced the getaway vehicle to its registered owner in Titusville. After interviewing the owner, officers conducted a search and reviewed her Bluetooth device, which displayed call records and contact names. This evidence ultimately led to the identification of the suspects.
In addition to the burglary charges, Williams is also under investigation for a separate case involving a 13-year-old boy allegedly targeted for bank fraud. Authorities believe Williams, using the alias “Candyman” on Snapchat, convinced the teen to withdraw money from his mother’s bank account.
As a result, Williams faces charges of organized fraud and unlawfully obtaining property valued at under $20,000. A hearing for that case is scheduled for March 20.
Both perps are in custody without bond at the Brevard County Jail in Sharpes.
