This event offers constituents of Florida’s 8th Congressional District—which includes all of Brevard and Indian River counties and parts of Orange County—an opportunity to engage directly with their representative.

During the town hall, Haridopolos will provide updates on his legislative activities, address pressing local and national issues, and respond to live questions from participants.

The House Science, Space, and Technology Committee has announced a subcommittee hearing to assess the progress and future direction of NASA’s Artemis program. Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee Chairman Mike Haridopolos of Brevard County, along with Committee Chairman Brian Babin, will lead the hearing, titled “Step by Step: The Artemis Program and NASA’s Path to Human Exploration of the Moon, Mars, and Beyond. “

Rep. Haridopolos, 54, brings a wealth of experience to his role, having served 12 years in the Florida Legislature, including a term as Florida Senate President from 2010 to 2012.

In the current Congress, he chairs the Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee of the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, serves as Majority Whip of the House Financial Services Committee, and is a steering committee member of the Republican Study Committee.

Constituents have expressed interest in discussing topics such as the National Flood Insurance Program, beach replenishment efforts, FEMA reimbursement processes, and Medicare reimbursements to healthcare providers.
