“We played in windy conditions last week, and they handled it OK. It was not easy conditions, so I was happy with that,” Eastern Florida State College women’s golf coach Jamie Howell said.

“Practicing in these conditions takes a lot out of players but I like what I saw from them.”

Seminole State and Eastern Florida State College will get their first look at Duran Golf Club, where the Southeast District Lady’s Championship will be held April 14-15.

“It gives us an extra look. We are going to be playing the district tournament at Duran, and now we get to play it in tournament conditions, and that is always different than practice and qualifying, so it is always good to play on the course,” Howell said.

The first two rounds will be on Monday, and the final round is scheduled for Tuesday.
