OBITUARY: Susan Nadine Levin Wiseman, 87, Passed Away Peacefully March 12 Surrounded By Family

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Susan Nadine Levin Wiseman, 87, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Susan dedicated her life to teaching children. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in teaching and began her career with the New York public school system.
She then moved to Connecticut with her second husband, Bernard Wiseman, and their son, Peter Cranis. Susan volunteered in the school system in Connecticut until they moved to Melbourne, Florida, in 1977. After having two more children, Michael and Andrew, she volunteered at their school, Creel Elementary.
Then, she became a full-time teacher for 23 years with Brevard County Public Schools, teaching 3rd and 5th grades, special education, and ESL at Creel.
She retired at age 79 with BCPS. She leaves behind son and daughter-in-law Peter Cranis and Melissa Morrow; son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren Michael, Manman, Eva, Lev, and Avi Wiseman; son Andrew Wiseman; and sister Alice Levin Jones.
The family would like to thank the extraordinary medical professionals at Melbourne Hospital, Kindred Hospital, and St. Francis Hospice for caring for her.
A memorial service will be held at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home on March 18, 2025.
