BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA—Palm Bay Police Sergeant Alcine Phang has dedicated 16 years to law enforcement. She began her career with the Palm Bay Police Department as a dispatcher in 2007 and was sworn in as a Law Enforcement Officer in 2010.
Her greatest inspiration comes from her children. Every accomplishment in her career has been driven by her desire to show them that anything is possible through hard work and dedication.
Among her proudest achievements are her promotion to sergeant and earning her master’s degree in public administration. Both milestones represent years of perseverance and commitment to professional growth.
What she enjoys most about working in Palm Bay is the opportunity to engage with the community and make a lasting impact on people’s lives.
She also values being a role model and mentor to her fellow officers, helping them grow in their careers.
Sgt. Phang was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and moved to the United States when she was 20. She has a master’s degree in Public Administration.
