ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Cathy Bell, the late founder of Your Logo By Geiger in Melbourne, has been selected for the American Advertising Federation District 4 Florida and Caribbean Advertising Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

Bell passed away at 62 last year after a fight with cancer.

Over the years, she actively contributed to the community and served as President of the American Advertising Federation. Bell’s dedication and entrepreneurial spirit have made Your Logo a vital part of the Melbourne community for nearly 35 years.

The Florida and Caribbean Advertising Hall of Fame is held each year to honor a select group of individuals with distinguished advertising careers of more than 20 years in the AAF District 4 market areas.

The honorees were nominated by their peers and voted into the Hall of Fame to recognize their ongoing commitments to being active in their communities through philanthropic endeavors, mentoring others, and creating the business practices we follow today as pioneers in the advertising industry.

The Class of 2025 also includes Jim Benedict, former owner of Benedict Advertising in Daytona, and John Appleyard, the late founder of Appleyard Agency in Pensacola, Florida.

“Their impact on the industry has been profound and far-reaching. By setting benchmarks for excellence, they have elevated the standards of creativity and professionalism,” said Stephanie Byrd, chair of this year’s Advertising Hall of Fame.

“Through their leadership, they have fostered a culture of integrity and quality, encouraging sustainable growth within the industry.”

The Florida and Caribbean Advertising Hall of Fame Class of 2025 live recognition video will be released on Friday, April 25. The formal in-person recognition will occur from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the American Advertising Awards Gala at the VU Orlando in Orlando.

“This year’s three Hall of Fame inductees represent the best parts of advertising: creativity, business prowess, and community advocacy,” said Stephanie Herndon, governor of AAF District 4.

The AAF District 4 is one of the 15 regional American Advertising Federation Districts nationally. It is comprised of 14 local federations located throughout Florida and the Caribbean.
