BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA — The Cocoa Police Department’s dynamic duo, K9 Draco and Officer Cierra Johnson, made a special guest appearance today at the Woof It Up event held at Riverfront Park.

Known for their fearless teamwork and dedication to public safety, the pair took center stage to give attendees a thrilling demonstration.

Draco, a fan favorite and four-legged crime-fighting powerhouse, showed off his skills during a simulated takedown of a ‘bad guy’—played by none other than K9 Officer Brian Delos Santos, who bravely suited up in the department’s bite suit.

Draco charged into action with a few simulated rounds fired to mimic a high-risk scenario, proving once again that when stopping suspects, he doesn’t miss a beat—or a bite.

Officer Johnson and Draco make a formidable team, with a shared passion for protecting the community and taking down criminals. Today, however, it was all about connecting with the public, raising awareness of the important role K9 units play, and sharing a few smiles and tail wags along the way.

Hats off to Team Draco for an impressive show of skill, strength, and community spirit.
