BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA –The 11th annual Dancing For the Space Coast community fundraising event is returning to Florida Tech’s Clemente Center this year on Saturday, May 31.
The 2025 edition of Brevard County’s biggest social and philanthropic event of the year will showcase featured dancers Anita Carbone, Gabriel Etienne, Megan Mcgivney, Tina Robbins, Gaston Robin, Scott Sanders, Danielle Urban and Veronica Weiss.
Known as the largest fundraising event in Brevard County, Dancing for the Space Coast is a unique competition and fundraiser that benefits worthy non-profit organizations on the Space Coast.
Last year’s event raised over $400,000 for Space Coast Discovery, Aging Matters, Space Coast Basket Brigade, and Best Buddies.
This year, Dancing for the Space Coast will raise money to benefit the BCSO Pet Posse, Brevard Youth Symphony, Sally’s House, and the Brevard County Public Safety Charity, which was established to assist Brevard County law enforcement officers and firefighters in their time of need.
“As Sheriff of Brevard County, it gives me great pleasure for our agency to host Dancing for the Space Coast,” said Sheriff Wayne Ivey.
“Dancing for the Space Coast is an exciting event that teams up local celebrities with dance professionals in a competition to benefit Brevard County nonprofit organizations. Each competitor dedicates their time and talents to taking dance lessons and diligently raises money as part of the competition.

Bragging Rights On the Line
Each celebrity dancer is matched up with a professional dancer as they compete in a ballroom dance, and for bragging rights as the best dancer in Brevard.
On the evening of the competition, each dance pair will compete in a choreographed ballroom dance that a panel of judges will score. Couples will earn scores based on several technical skill factors during the show, but the judges’ scores alone don’t decide the dancer’s final score.
Leading up to the actual performance, the dancers will have already scored 60 percent of their points through their fundraising endeavors to benefit needy charities.
