Temporary Closure of Tortoise Drive in Satellite Beach for Repairs in Effect Through July 2

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA — The City of Melbourne’s Public Works and Utilities Department has announced a temporary road closure on Tortoise Drive at its intersection with South Patrick Drive, beginning Thursday, June 26.
According to city officials, the closure went into effect at 10 a.m. on June 26 and is expected to remain in place through 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2. During this period, all traffic will be restricted from entering the Montecito Subdivision via Tortoise Drive.
The closure is necessary to complete water main repairs and will impact access to the Montecito Subdivision.
Traffic control measures will be established to ensure the safe redirection of vehicles around the construction area. The city is urging drivers to follow all posted detour signs and exercise caution in the vicinity of the work zone.
