BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX successfully launched the SiriusXM SXM-10 mission early Saturday morning, June 7, delivering a communications satellite to geosynchronous transfer orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Liftoff occurred at 12:54 a.m. ET, marking another milestone in SpaceX’s growing portfolio of commercial satellite deployments. The mission utilized a flight-proven Falcon 9 first stage booster making its eighth journey to space. The booster had previously supported missions including Crew-9, RRT-1, Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1, Fram2, and three Starlink deployments.

Following stage separation, the first stage successfully executed a pinpoint landing on the autonomous droneship A Shortfall of Gravitas, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. This recovery continues SpaceX’s ongoing efforts to reduce launch costs and increase reusability through booster recovery.

The SXM-10 satellite will expand SiriusXM’s broadcast capacity and service reach. Positioned in geosynchronous orbit, it will support the company’s satellite radio services across North America.
