City of Cocoa to Host Annual Back-To-School Supply Collection Event on July 19 at Walmart

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA — The City of Cocoa is calling on the community to come together for its Annual School Supply Collection Event on Saturday, July 19, at Cocoa Walmart, located at 2700 Clearlake Road.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and aims to fill police vehicles with much-needed school supplies for local students.

Organized in partnership with local law enforcement and community volunteers, this event helps ensure that students in the Cocoa area are equipped for success as they head back to the classroom.

Donated supplies will be distributed to children and families in need ahead of the new school year.

The public is encouraged to bring new school supplies, including:

● Backpacks
● Scissors
● Pencils
● Crayons
● Glue sticks
● Hand sanitizer
● Paper
● Rulers
● Folders
● Notebooks
● Composition books
● Highlighters
● Colored pencils

All collected items will directly benefit students within the Cocoa community, helping ease the financial burden on families and preparing children for a confident start to the academic year.
