BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Former Cocoa great Richie Leonard IV will host his football camp for the second straight year. The camp will take place Saturday, July 12, at Cocoa High School from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Just a week after youth athletes of Brevard County attended Jawaan Taylor’s football camp, they will have the opportunity to learn even more by attending Richie Leonard’s football camp.

Last weekend, from Viera Regional, former Cocoa standout, Space Coast Sports Hall of Famer, and current Kansas City Chief, Jawaan Taylor hosted his third annual football camp. The event was held for all three levels of grade schoolers ages 8-16, and was a huge success.

With hundreds of athletes attending Taylor’s camp they got to learn from one of Brevard County’s finest and spend an enjoyable time doing skills and drills.

Leonard’s camp will be no different, an opportunity for the youth to go out and learn from a current college football standout and have an enjoyable Saturday in the process.

Leonard’s first football camp last year was a huge success, and being able to give back to the community and especially the youth is something Richie has aspired to do.

Richie Leonard IV is a 2020 graduate from Cocoa who attended the University of Florida, coming out of high school as one of the top offensive linemen in the state. He spent four years (2020-2023) at Florida before heading to Florida State University as a graduate transfer in 2024.

He started all but one game for the Seminoles before a season-ending injury in the fourth game of the season.

Leonard IV will be back for his last season of college football this upcoming fall and is one of the key contributors on the offensive line for the Seminoles.
