Upcoming Holiday Closures to Be Aware of in City of Melbourne

MelBOOM 4th of July fireworks celebration

BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA — The City of Melbourne has issued a series of notices of important closures for the public to be aware of as we approach the Independence Day holiday.

The following closures will be in effect:

● City Hall will be closed on July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

● There will be no Waste Management collection on July 4.

● The boat ramp at Front Street Park will close at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, in preparation for the MelBOOM 4th of July fireworks celebration, which takes place on Friday, July 4. The boat ramp will re-open at 5 a.m. on Saturday, July 5.

Residents who utilize these services are encouraged to plan their schedules accordingly around these closures.
