BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Former Eau Gallie standout and current Barry University Buccaneer Sarah Langlie has wrapped up a breakout freshman year that firmly established her as one of the Sunshine State Conference’s rising stars.
In her debut season, Langlie started and played in all 57 games, showcasing her consistency and durability as both a catcher and outfielder. She batted .384, recorded an OPS of .935, and posted a .492 slugging percentage, powering Barry’s offense throughout the 2025 season.

Langlie’s offensive production was matched by her poise at the plate. She scored 41 runs, drove in 46 RBIs, drew 20 walks, and was hit by pitch twice. On the basepaths, she went 10-for-13 in stolen base attempts, further proving her versatility and athleticism.
She was a model of consistency, tallying 21 multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI games, including two five-RBI performances that highlighted her clutch hitting.
On defense, Langlie was flawless. In 42 total chances, she committed zero errors, finishing the season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage—an impressive feat for any position, let alone a freshman behind the plate.
