Eastern Florida State College Women’s Soccer Player Avery Bracher Named FCSAA Player of Week

Titans will host Florida Tech in scrimmage Wednesday

BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA — Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer player Avery Bracher was named the FCSAA Division I Women’s Soccer Player of the Week on Tuesday.

The sophomore from Virginia had a strong debut for the Titans as the women’s soccer team went 2-0 in Tennessee.

In the season opener against No. 17 Motlow State, Bracher scored the lone goal of the game in the first half to help the Titans claim a 1-0 win. Then on Sunday, the Titans scored eight goals against Calhoun Community College, and Bracher finished with a goal and assisted on two others in the win.

Bracher and the 14th-ranked Titans will host Florida Tech in a scrimmage on Wednesday night at Orlando Health Stadium before hosting No. 11 Butler Community College on Monday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m.
