FHP: Dump Truck Crash at I-95 Southbound at State Road 528 in Cocoa Shuts Down Two Lanes

Dump Truck fled the scene

Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are on the scene of a crash on I-95 Southbound at State Road 528 in Cocoa. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the overpass concrete bridge was struck by a dump truck with an excavator. After the collision, the Dump Truck fled the scene. FHP is asking anyone with information regarding this crash to contact FHP at *347. There are currently two southbound lanes shut down, and traffic is being diverted through one lane. Drivers are reminded to use an alternate route and avoid the area.
This crash remains under investigation.
