AML’s technology opens up the design space

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard-based Advanced Magnet Lab, Inc., a leader in the development of innovative permanent magnet solutions, featured its world-class technologies, advanced manufacturing capabilities, and industrial policy expertise in a September conference tour.
Presenting to hundreds of business leaders, politicians, academics, and media, AML’s President Wade Senti spoke alongside panelists to guests at the 2025 Oxford Semiconductor Conference, sharing insights into onshoring critical supply chains and innovating with permanent magnets in the U.S.
Following Senti’s event, AML’s CTO Philippe Masson gave a keynote address at the Toronto Rare Earth Mines, Magnets & Motors 2025, showcasing the technological expertise and science behind AML’s patented PM-Wire™ magnet technology.
As AML navigates its supply chain, its innovations and novel permanent magnet manufacturing process harness a combination of unique magnetization and advanced manufacturing for a one-of-a-kind magnet solution for motors, generators, electronics, and defense.
This differentiation is rooted in the fundamental innovation, something that has been uncommon for decades in the permanent magnet industry. AML’s technology opens up the design space for applications that have added benefits, such as using less critical rare earths (or no rare earths at all).
“At the foundation of AML is the breakthrough technology that we’ve been perfecting for nearly a decade,” said Wade Senti.
“And today, at a moment when America urgently needs innovative solutions, I’m proud that AML can deliver—whether it be for our customers, our country, or our national security. Because when a call comes, we’re ready to mobilize for the supply chain.”
September’s presentations arrive at a defining moment for the global magnet and rare earth industries, as nations worldwide grapple with the vulnerabilities that have threatened everything from defense systems to cars to consumer electronics. In response to the magnet crisis, AML has developed a multi-front approach, detailed in a feature news story in the Brevard Business News.
“It’s been a chaotic year—an unpredictable year, that’s for sure—but our mission hasn’t changed. We’re innovating the technology, advancing the manufacturing, developing the supply chains, and preparing to scale,” said Senti.
“None of this would be possible without our team of incredible talent, generous Board of Directors, supportive investors, engagements with government agencies, and partnerships across the supply chain with industry peers.”
These partnerships will remain in focus for the remainder of the year and beyond. This Summer, Wade Senti penned an op-ed in Newsweek outlining the magnet industry’s history and necessary calls to action. This includes urgent partnerships between the government, industry, and academia to reinvigorate the magnet industrial base on sovereign soil.
