Eastern Florida State College Soccer Player Alvin Ssekamate Named FCSAA Player of Week

Titans host Miami Dade College on Thursday evening
BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College men’s soccer player Alvin Ssekamate was named the FCSAA Division I Men’s Soccer Player of the Week on Tuesday.
The freshman scored the lone goal in the Titans’ 1-0 victory against No. 3 Daytona State College on Thursday.
Ssekamate got a pass from Henry Crosthwaite and put it past the Daytona State College goalkeeper in the 78th minute to give the Titans the win.
It was Ssekamate’s fifth goal of the season and his first time as the FCSAA Player of the Week.
The Titans, who are seventh in the latest NJCAA Division I national poll, will host Miami Dade College on Thursday evening in the Region 8 Tournament semifinals.
