St. Francis Hospice to Host 4th Annual DASH in Life 5K to Honor Veterans

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – St. Francis Hospice invites the community to come together in tribute to local heroes at the 4th Annual DASH in Life 5K Run/Walk, at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center on Merritt Island on Saturday, November 8, at 7:30 a.m., benefiting the We Honor Veterans Program.

The DASH in Life 5K, standing for Devotion, Admiration, Service, and Honor, is a heartfelt event that celebrates Veterans whose lives and service have touched countless others. Participants are encouraged to run or walk in honor or memory of a Veteran, either in person or virtually.

Following the race, guests are invited to stay for a special recognition ceremony honoring all Veterans in attendance. The event is open to all ages and welcomes families, groups, and teams. Strollers are permitted and should line up behind runners. Service animals are welcome, but no other pets are allowed.

This year’s event promises an inspiring morning, featuring a special guest appearance to kick off the race.

Proceeds from the DASH in Life 5K benefit the St. Francis Hospice We Honor Veterans Program, which provides compassionate end-of-life care uniquely tailored to the needs of those who have served in the military.
