An Old Fashioned Christmas Returns to Cocoa Beach With Time Honored Tradition, Carols

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Riverside Presbyterian Church in Cocoa Beach will once again welcome local audiences for An Old Fashioned Christmas, a cherished holiday concert that has become a seasonal favorite for Brevard County families.

The free program begins at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, at the church campus located at 3400 North Atlantic Avenue.

Presented as part of the 2025 to 2026 Dr. Vernon Boushell Concert Series, the performance will feature the Indialantic Chamber Singers and the Brevard Youth Chorus under the direction of conductor Beth Green. The program includes a wide selection of traditional Christmas music, offering both choral richness and a nostalgic celebration of the season.

The Indialantic Chamber Singers will perform familiar songs such as The Little Drummer Boy and It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. The Brevard Youth Chorus will share lively renditions of Jingle Bells, Deck the Hall, Up on the Housetop and other favorites, accompanied by choir chimes on several selections.

The two ensembles will unite for pieces including Ding Dong Merrily on High and Silent Night, creating moments that blend youthful voices with seasoned choral harmonies. Audience members will also be invited to join in singing several well-loved carols throughout the afternoon.

Green, who serves as conductor for both groups, spoke warmly about the longstanding partnership with Riverside Presbyterian Church. She said the singers look forward to the holiday performance each year and appreciate the enthusiastic support the concert continues to receive from the Cocoa Beach community.
