Brevards's New Whole Foods Highlights Florida Producers and Organic Living

Shoppers in Brevard County can now fill their carts with a wide range of organic and natural products closer to home, as the county’s first Whole Foods Market officially opened its doors on November 6. The store showcases more than 450 items from Florida-based producers, reflecting Whole Foods’ ongoing commitment to supporting local growers and artisans.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Shoppers in Brevard County can now fill their carts with a wide range of organic and natural products closer to home, as the county’s first Whole Foods Market officially opened its doors on November 6.

Located at 2035 Viera Blvd., the new 37,000-square-foot store in The Crossings at Viera offers an expansive variety of groceries that meet the company’s strict quality standards—banning ingredients such as high-fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated fats, and more than 300 artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners, and additives.

The store also showcases more than 450 items from Florida-based producers, reflecting Whole Foods’ ongoing commitment to supporting local growers and artisans.

The Viera opening marks a milestone for Space Coast residents who have long awaited access to the popular grocery chain without the need to travel to Orlando or beyond.

A Whole Foods official said the store will offer not just groceries, but a community gathering space where healthy living and sustainability meet convenience.

“I am delighted to welcome the Brevard County community to our first Whole Foods Market in the area,” said Tim Martin, Store Team Leader for Whole Foods Market. “Whether you’re grabbing lunch, picking up party food and drinks, or restocking your pantry, we’ve got you covered with the perfect balance of high quality and value.”

Customers can enjoy a range of fresh and prepared options, including a full-service meat counter, seafood sourced from Florida suppliers, and a sushi, salad, and soup bar.

On opening morning, Whole Foods Market donated product to Nana’s Children’s Home through the food redistribution nonprofit Florida Food Banks, which makes regular surplus-food pickups from local Whole Foods Market stores to help prevent food waste and serve the surrounding community.

Founded in Austin, Texas, in 1980, Whole Foods Market has grown into what it calls the “world’s leading natural and organic foods retailer,” and is recognized as the first certified organic national grocer in the United States. The company now operates more than 535 stores across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.
