BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – One of the Space Coast’s most beloved holiday traditions is making its return this Christmas Eve, as Surfing Santas once again hits the waves in Cocoa Beach.
The festive event will take place Tuesday, December 24, from 7:30 a.m. to noon at Coconuts on the Beach, located at 3 Minutemen Causeway.
Admission is free, and everyone — whether they surf or just want to soak up the holiday fun — is welcome to join.
Each year, hundreds of surfers dressed as Santa Claus, elves, and even reindeer take to the Atlantic for a unique display of holiday spirit. Spectators crowd the beach to cheer them on, take photos, and celebrate the season in true Florida style — with sunshine, surfboards, and sand instead of snow.
The event also features live music, festive costumes, and a lively beach atmosphere that captures the heart of Cocoa Beach’s surf culture.
Organizers encourage early arrival for the best views and parking, as Surfing Santas has grown into one of Brevard County’s biggest and most joyful holiday gatherings.
Whether you’re paddling out or just watching from the shore, Surfing Santas promises a morning of laughter, community, and coastal Christmas cheer.
