Eastern Florida State’s Sean Register Named FCSAA Division I Basketball Player of the Week

freshman forward averaged 26.3 points and 10.3 rebounds over the Christmas break

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball player Sean Register Jr. was named the FCSAA Division I Player of the Week for the third time this season.

The freshman forward averaged 26.3 points and 10.3 rebounds over the Christmas break and has now scored at least 23 points in 12 of the 15 games and recorded six double-doubles this season.

Register is leading the FCSAA in scoring, averaging 24 points per game, which is also fourth in the nation. He is averaging 8.7 rebounds per game, which ranks among the top 10 in the state.

Eastern Florida State College will host Miami Dade College on Wednesday night at Titan Field House. The men’s game will tip off around 7:30 p.m. after the women’s game.

It will also be the first Alumni Friends and Fans night sponsored by Community Credit Union, with contests and giveaways during halftime.
