Merritt Island High School to Host ‘Your Vote Is Your Voice’ Assembly Featuring Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA –Merritt Island High School will host a civic engagement assembly titled Your Vote Is Your Voice on Monday, February 23, offering students an opportunity to learn more about the importance of participating in the democratic process.
The event will take place from 10:40 – 11:20 a.m. at the school’s campus located at 100 East Mustang Way in Merritt Island.
The assembly will be led by Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic and is designed to inspire students to better understand their role in shaping their communities through voting.
A highlight of the program will be Bobanic’s Vote in Honor of a Veteran initiative. As part of the assembly, a school administrator who is either a veteran or active duty service member will share personal reflections on why voting holds deep personal meaning.
