BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrests of three individuals facing a range of charges spanning drug possession, child exploitation, and major financial crimes.
Eugene Jordan was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the arrest but confirmed the charges are pending through the court system.
Stelios Kalogeras was taken into custody on two counts of possession and viewing of material depicting child sexual conduct. The charges stem from an investigation conducted by the Sheriff’s Office. Officials emphasized their continued commitment to aggressively pursuing crimes involving the exploitation of children.
Kathleen Hedrick faces multiple felony charges following what investigators describe as a complex financial fraud investigation.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Hedrick is charged with:
– 11 counts of cash deposit with intent to defraud
– Two counts of obtaining property equal to or greater than $50,000
– Two counts of false entry into books
– Scheme to defraud
– Money laundering
– Communication to defraud involving property valued at $300 or more
Authorities allege the charges are connected to a large-scale fraud scheme involving significant sums of money. Additional details about the case are expected to be presented in court.
The Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
