BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — As Spring Training signals the return of baseball nationwide, a new music video created in Brevard County is drawing attention from the highest levels of the sport.
Songwriter Alan Ross Frisher of Melbourne has released “Playball Baseball Game,” an AI-enhanced baseball anthem that has received praise from Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred, according to a release from the project’s organizers.
The song and accompanying video arrive ahead of the 2026 Major League Baseball season, positioning the track as a potential stadium sing-along and digital sports media feature.
Frisher wrote the song 25 years ago as a personal tribute to his late father and to his children, inspired by the traditions and family connections long associated with baseball.
Despite its early creation, the composition remained unreleased for decades until Frisher partnered with Emmy Award-winning production company And You Films to bring the project to life.
The newly released music video blends nostalgic imagery with modern AI-driven visual effects, a combination the creative team describes as a “generational tribute” to baseball’s enduring cultural role.
The production celebrates the sport from sandlot games to professional stadiums, aiming to resonate with longtime fans while introducing the game’s spirit to a new generation.
“I dream of hearing this singalong echoing from every Major League Jumbotron in America,” Frisher said in a prepared statement. “Baseball is about family and memory; this video is my way of passing that torch to the next generation of fans.”
Representatives from And You Films said projects that translate original music into cinematic storytelling are rare but rewarding.
The company noted that “Playball Baseball Game” was created to reintroduce baseball to younger audiences while honoring the sport’s legendary players and traditions.
In addition to its creative ambitions, the project has garnered institutional recognition. The song was acknowledged by the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, underscoring its potential appeal within professional baseball circles.
Key highlights of “Playball Baseball Game” include its decades-long development, its Emmy-recognized production team, and its versatility for use in Major League stadiums, community baseball fields, and online sports platforms.
The music video is now publicly available, marking the culmination of a 25-year journey from handwritten lyrics to a technologically advanced visual tribute celebrating baseball’s past, present, and future.
