BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA – A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for residents of the Mims water service area living at Amy Way, Blue Teal Ct., Bob White Tr., Cambridge Dr., Canvasback Dr, Egret Ct., Estrada Ln., Fawn Lake Blvd., Green Turtle Cir., Tuscany Dr. , James Ln., Kingfisher Way, Lee Rd., Napoli Way, Night Heron Dr., Pheasant Tr., Pintail Ct., Scrub Jay Ct., Sparrow Hawk Tr., Stag Ct., Tammy Dr., Timms Ln., Tindall Ln., Tommy Ct., and 4412-5350 Highway 46.
A water main break has occurred at Hwy 46 and Carpenter in the Mims water service area. The repair has been completed and water service should be restored to all residents.
As a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. You will receive another notification at that time.
