West Melbourne Squads Vie For Chili Cook-Off Title

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Restaurant, individual, corporate, firefighter, EMT and police teams will vie for the 2013 Chili Cook-Off Title in West Melbourne with proceeds benefiting the West Melbourne Police Athletic League.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at the West Melbourne Community Park on Minton Road.

Besides the amateur chili cooking contest, the day will include plenty of music, food, fun, and exciting demonstrations by police and firefighters and open to everyone.

In addition, there will be a car, truck and motorcycle show at the event.

Live music will be performed by the “Country Classics Band” and “Forgiven.”

There will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and awards given in all categories judged by members of the general public and local celebrities. Judging will take place by the general public and celebrity judges.
