WASHINGTON, DC – President Donald Trump announced a combined American, French and British precision attack against Syrian chemical weapons installations on Friday night.
Trump’s announcement immediately preceded reports of loud explosions lighting up the sky in Damascus.
The Bashar al-Assad regime deployed chemical weapons in what was a “significant escalation in a pattern of chemical weapons use by that very terrible regime.”
“To Iran and to Russia I ask, what kind of nation wants to be associated with the mass murder of innocent men, women and children,” said President Trump.
“The nations of the world can be judged by the friends that they keep. Russia must decide if it will continue down this dark path or continue with civilized nations.”
