BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE, FLORIDA – The Satellite Scorpions (7-1) are set to host the Merritt Islands (7-1) in prep football action Friday evening, with Juan Rodriguez and JC Meyerholtz bringing you all the action live on Space Coast Daily TV.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Scorpions stadium.

The Scorpions look to defend home field after picking up a road win against the Palm Bay Pirates last week 38-15.

Senior linebacker Vlady Clark had an exceptional game leading the defense with 11 total tackles against the Pirates.

Merritt Island Mustangs are coming off easily their biggest win of the season after defeating the Rockledge Raiders last week 26-6.

Mustang’s senior quarterback Brady Denaburg finished the game with 2 touchdowns through the air and a quarterback rating of 111.

This district matchup is a must-win for both teams considering all the implications it will have with the post-season around the corner.
