FDOT Schedules Upcoming Road Closure at Intersection of State Road 519 and Fiske Boulevard for Dec. 19

This closure will take place on December 19, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The Florida Department of Transportation advises all Brevard traffic goers of an upcoming closure of the intersection at State Road 519/Fiske Boulevard and Barton Boulevard.

This closure will take place on December 19, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Directional signs will be in place to help direct traffic around the closures and through the detour routes.

Traveling eastbound on Barton Boulevard to Fiske Boulevard:

Motorists traveling east on Barton Boulevard wanting to access S.R. 519/Fiske Boulevard will be directed southbound on Golfview Drive, then east on Fairway Lane where S.R. 519/Fiske Boulevard will be available.

Continuing eastbound on Barton Boulevard:

Motorists traveling east on Barton Boulevard will be directed south onto Golfview Drive, then east on Fairway Lane to S.R. 519/ Fiske Boulevard.

At S.R. 519/ Fiske Boulevard turn south, then east onto Cardinal Avenue, then head north on Elm Street to access Barton Boulevard.

Traveling westbound on Barton Boulevard to Fiske Boulevard
Motorists traveling west on Barton Boulevard wanting to access S.R. 519/ Fiske Boulevard will be directed southbound onto Elm Street, then westbound onto Cardinal Avenue.

Continuing westbound on Barton Boulevard:

Motorists traveling west on Barton Boulevard will be directed south onto Elm Street, then west onto Cardinal Avenue to S.R. 519/Fiske Boulevard.

At S.R. 519/Fiske Boulevard turn north toward Barton Boulevard, at Fairway Lane turn west, then head north on Golfview Road to access Barton Boulevard.

Traveling on Fiske Boulevard to eastbound Barton Boulevard

Motorists traveling on S.R. 519/Fiske Boulevard wanting to go east on Barton Boulevard will be directed to turn east onto Cardinal Avenue, then north on Elm Street to Barton Boulevard.

Traveling on Fiske Boulevard to westbound Barton Boulevard:

Motorists traveling on S.R. 519/Fiske Boulevard wanting to go west on Barton Boulevard will be directed west onto Fairway Lane, then north on Golfview Drive to Barton Boulevard.

These closures will allow the project team to complete the necessary paving and resurfacing.

The scheduled closures are subject to change. Please proceed with caution in construction zones.
