BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Parrish Medical Center invites the public to come out and enjoy the 30th annual Gift of Light tree lighting event on Thursday, Dec. 1, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Enjoy holiday magic as Parrish Medical Center lights its spectacular 50-foot Christmas tree, which features 37,000 lights, courtesy of Jess Parrish Medical Foundation.

“During our Gift of Light celebration, you and your family will experience a truly spectacular holiday gathering filled with good friends, good tidings, and much more,” said Natalie Sellers, Vice President, Communications, Community & Corporate Services.

Of course, Santa will be on hand, along with food trucks, entertainment and a spectacular fireworks show sponsored by Injury Centers of Brevard.

Begin the season with a healing community celebration:

■ Get a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

■ Enjoy hot chocolate and baked goods.

■ The magic continues with musical and performance guests; The Titusville High School Orchestra, Titusville Playhouse, Fierce Dance Company, The Space Coast Sound Wave Choir, The Astronaut High School Jazz Band and other holiday surprises.

■ Bring your appetite and satisfy those cravings at one of the food truck vendors; No Ordinary Burrito, The Sherminator, Beach Bums Sweet Treats, Sizzling Smoke, and more!

■ End the evening with a magical fireworks display.

It has become a tradition to celebrate Healing Families – Healing Communities at Parrish Medical Center during the holiday season.

“Through tribute gifts, the lives of our patients and their families will be touched in meaningful ways,” said Sellers. “Honor and memorial gifts are permanently listed in the Book of Honor and displayed year-round in the hospital’s All Faiths Chapel and in the atrium during the holiday season.”
