BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Fire Rescue Engine 5 A-Shift crews responded to a vehicle crash last week on Babcock Street NE.

A Palm Bay Fire Rescue spokesperson said, upon arrival, crew members encountered a severely damaged vehicle with an entrapped passenger suffering from serious injuries.

“Our firefighters worked diligently to manage this challenging scene, carefully navigating the complexities of the wreckage,” said  Palm Bay Fire Rescue spokesperson.

“After a thorough and technical extrication, the patient was freed, treated on-site for their injuries, and transported to the area trauma center.”

Palm Bay Fire-Rescue consists of six fire stations that cover the City 24/7 with fire and medical services.
