BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA — Come to Space Cats 2025 and meet some famous felines and some “meowvelous” cat people, all set to blast off the weekend of January 25 and 26 at the Space Coast Convention Center, located at 301 Tucker Lane in Cocoa. For more details and to buy tickets, visit the Space Cats website.
The event begins each day at 10 a.m. for VIP access and 10:30 for general admission ticket holders. Both days wrap up at 5 p.m.
The weekend of feline fun promises to be an extraordinary experience for cat enthusiasts, breeders, and industry professionals and features a dynamic lineup of speakers and activities that include:
■ SurferCat Mavi: From the Emmy-winning Netflix reality show ‘Cat People’ and featured in ‘People Magazine’ and The Today Show. Mavi the Bengal cat is an extreme athlete—he surfs, swims, snowboards, skateboards, and even rides a Vespa.
He’s also from the hit Netflix series Hidden Lives of Pets. Mavi is currently shooting his new travel show in Italy, where he learns to make pasta (a close second to making biscuits) and even dines at a Michelin Star restaurant for the filming.
■ Kate Benjamin: Founder of Hauspanther and New York Times bestselling co-author of Catification, which she penned with cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy. Benjamin will share her expertise when it comes to stylish and functional cat design.

As one of the few African American cat advocates, Davis also uses his platform to talk about diversity in animal welfare.
■ Ellen Carozza: Known as the “Cat LVT,” Ellen Carozza will provide valuable insights into feline health and care. As President of the Chris Griffey Memorial Feline Foundation, Carozza works tirelessly to promote cat adoption but will also share feline healthcare tips every cat parent should know.

With a deep love for all things cat-related, Nathan has set out on a remarkable journey that has positively impacted the lives of numerous cats and the individuals who cherish them, working across the country with shelters, rescues, and more.
