Kilda Jacqueline Boivin, 97, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025, at St. Francis Reflections in Melbourne, Florida. Her primary career was helping people as a Certified Nurse’s Aide at Courtney Springs Seniors Residence on Merritt Island, Florida. She was also very active as a volunteer and dancer with the Indian River Cloggers, and dancing kept her young.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA—Kilda Jacqueline Boivin passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025, at St. Francis Reflections in Melbourne, Florida.

She was the widow of Junior Cameron of Cape Canaveral, Florida. Kilda was born in Jonquiere, Lac Saint Jean, Quebec on May 9, 1927. She lived and worked in Lac Megantic, Montreal, and Lac des Plages, Quebec, before moving to Waterbury, Connecticut, and Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Kilda became an American citizen on September 2, 1994. Her primary career was helping people as a Certified Nurse’s Aide at Courtney Springs Seniors Residence on Merritt Island, Florida. She was also very active as a volunteer and dancer with the Indian River Cloggers, and dancing kept her young.

Kilda was the eldest child of a large family with eight siblings. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren. Kilda was 97 years old. She will be missed.At her request there are no formal services scheduled. Interment will take place at a later date in Waterbury, Connecticut.
