WASHINGTON, D.C. – Former Brevard Florida Representative and State Senator and now Florida District 6 U.S. Congressman Randy Fine has been appointed by the House Republican Conference to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.
Fine previously represented Brevard County in the Florida Senate from 2024 to 2025 and in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2024.
“It is an extraordinary honor to join the House Foreign Affairs Committee under the bold leadership of true American Hero, Chairman Brian Mast, a fellow Floridian and fierce advocate for American strength,” said Fine.
“With more than two decades of international business experience across nearly every continent, I bring a unique, real-world perspective to the global challenges our country faces. In this new role, I’m ready to advance President Trump’s America First vision to defend our allies, confront our enemies, and ensure that U.S. foreign policy puts American interests first.”
Mast said Fine is a “battle-tested conservative and a fierce defender of America’s interests. The Foreign Affairs Committee is stronger with him on board. Proud to welcome my fellow Floridian to the fight.”
The House Committee on Foreign Affairs is responsible for guiding the nation’s approach to diplomacy and global security. Its jurisdiction includes oversight of foreign aid, international agreements, war powers, arms control, and the deployment of U.S. forces abroad.
Fine continues to serve on the House Committee on Education and the Workforce as a member of the Subcommittees on Higher Education and Workforce Development, Workforce Protections, and Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions.
