Hurricane Erin has strengthened into a Category 5 Hurricane with sustained winds of 160 mph as the storm currently travels west over the open Atlantic. The hurricane is not expected to make landfall in Florida, but will produce dangerous surf conditions all along the East Coast of the United States.
Sunday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 2 pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east northeast in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is 60%.
