Two Suspects Arrested in Titusville for Charges Related to Fentanyl, Prostitution

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police arrested two suspects Wednesday afternoon on drug and solicitation charges following an undercover investigation that led to the seizure of fentanyl.
The arrests occurred on August 20, 2025, at approximately 4:20 p.m., after detectives uncovered evidence of prostitution solicitation.
Investigators said James Saunders, 36, of Titusville, solicited sex from a male undercover detective before purchasing fentanyl in the officer’s presence near the 700 block of Deleon Avenue.
Detectives arrested Saunders along with Calease Jordan, 53, also of Titusville, who sold fentanyl to Saunders during the transaction.
Officers said they recovered 8.6 grams of fentanyl from Jordan at the time of her arrest.
Saunders, 36, of Titusville, was charged with solicitation of prostitution and the sale of a controlled substance. Jordan was charged with trafficking fentanyl in an amount of four grams or more.
Both suspects were booked into the Brevard County Detention Center. Saunders is being held on a $25,500 bond, while Jordan’s bond is set at $150,000.
Titusville Police Major Jeremy Gonzalez praised the work of the department’s Special Investigations Section in the case.
“This case highlights the critical importance of our Special Investigations Section and their ability to protect the public,” Gonzalez said. “Our detectives put a priority on drug-related crimes as fentanyl is one of the deadliest drugs plaguing our community.”
