BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Bill Belichick, the current head coach for the University of North Carolina football program, visited Cocoa High School on Tuesday as part of a recruiting stop to evaluate prospective student-athletes.

The visit focused on player evaluation and relationship-building rather than public appearances.
Cocoa High School has long been recognized as one of Florida’s premier football programs, producing numerous Division I and professional athletes.

The school continues to attract interest from college programs nationwide, particularly from Power Four conferences seeking talent from Florida’s talent-rich pipeline.
Belichick’s presence underscored North Carolina’s recruiting efforts in the Southeast, where competition for top high school prospects remains intense.
The Tigers are coming off another strong season and continue offseason workouts as players prepare for spring practices and upcoming recruiting evaluations.
