PATRICK SPACE FORCE BASE, FLORIDA — Officials at Patrick Space Force Base have issued a gate status update advising personnel, residents, and visitors of temporary changes to base access.

The South Gate will remain closed until further notice. In addition, the Commercial Truck Gate is currently closed to commuter traffic and should not be used for regular inbound or outbound travel.

The Main Gate remains fully operational and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for all inbound and outbound traffic. Drivers may access the Main Gate from both northbound and southbound A1A.

To help ease outbound traffic during peak afternoon hours, the Old Main Gate located on Juniper Street will be open on a limited basis.

This gate will allow right turns and outbound traffic only from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. This temporary measure will remain in place until outbound access at the South Gate is restored.

Base officials encourage all drivers to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow posted signage and instructions from security personnel while these changes remain in effect.
