BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Earlier this afternoon, our BCSO “Enforcers” Basketball Team took on the graduating seniors of the Merritt Island Christian School Basketball Team and Faculty as well at the MICS Gymnasium.
Our “Enforcers” and I always enjoy playing in front of students at schools throughout Brevard County and today’s game was awesome as we played before a packed house of students and teachers who came out strong to support their Basketball Team and Faculty who faced Brevard County’s true “Bad Boys” of Basketball.
While the score went back and forth throughout the entire game, in the end the “Enforcers” came out on top while having a great time interacting with the players and students.
Now without question, the majority of our team’s points came from huge efforts by Sgt. Carl Jenkins, Corporal Lolly Hutchinson, and K-9 Corporal Lance Behringer, but the ole man himself had a good game as well with numerous assists, rebounds, and a huge 3 point shot that luckily got captured on video.
Folks, we always have a blast playing each year against the Merritt Island Cougars who not only are great athletes but also a team of character and sportsmanship.
Please join me in thanking the Faculty and Staff at Merritt Island Christian School for allowing us to play the game and our “Enforcers” who each volunteer their time to play on our team in support of our mission and community.
