2-1-1 Brevard Helpline Offers Flu Vaccine Information

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – 2-1-1 Brevard helpline specialists can provide information about locations that have flu vaccines available as shots and/or nasal sprays.

The helpline is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Brevard County Health Department no longer has the adult vaccine at any of its three clinics.

Children’s vaccines are expected late next week at the health department.

For more information about getting a child immunization at a county clinic, call from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at 321-637-7300.

Residents will be encouraged to call before going to commercial locations provided by 2-1-1 specialists to confirm that information on availability, hours and costs is up to date.

They also may contact their personal physicians about flu vaccines.
