For more than a century, athletes from Brevard have been considered among the finest in America and now their accomplishments will be honored and memorialized with the creation of the Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame. Maverick Multimedia, the parent company of Space Coast Daily, created the Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame and the Class of 2020 inductees will be enshrined on Friday, May 8 during the Induction Banquet and Annual Sports Awards. Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame inductees are selected from nominees in four categories including professional sports, college sports, high school sports and amateur sports. Special honorary recognition is also bestowed upon individuals and groups that have made significant contributions to sports on the Space Coast.
