BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Tech sophomores Dar Raz and Nir Barnea each topped their own school record times in the 100-yard freestyle preliminaries Saturday at the NCAA Championship at the IU Natatorium on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

Raz took 41st in her preliminary race, dashing to a 52.45, one and a half tenths of a second faster than her previous school record in the event.

Barnea grabbed 25th with his 45.02, more than a second quicker than the FIT record that he previously held in the 100-yard race.
