UPDATE: Officials have announced that Northbound lanes on I-95 in Titusville have reopened.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Three children were killed in a single vehicle crash on I-95 Monday evening about 6:20 p.m. 

Northbound I-95 was shut down south of the Garden Street exit at Mile Marker 219 in Titusville due to the fatal vehicle crash which involved 11 people.

According to FHP, a Dodge Durango blew a tire as it traveled north on I-95, just south of Garden Street in Titusville at Mile Marker 219.

According to FHP, the vehicle rolled several times and the other eight people in the Durango were injured.

FHP reports that Troopers arrived on scene at 6:32 p.m.

In addition to FHP, BCFR, the Titusville Fire Department, First Flight and a Volusia County helicopter all responded to the scene.
