BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team’s 14-game home win streak will be put to the test on Saturday afternoon.

No. 16 Palm Beach State comes to Titan Field House in a Southern Conference battle at 2 p.m. and admission is free.

The No. 7 Titans are 15-1 overall and 1-0 in the Southern Conference after defeating Broward College on the road Wednesday night behind NJCAA Division I Player of the Week Kareem Brewton who scored the team’s final seven points in the 91-90 victory.

Palm Beach State fell in their conference opener against ASA Miami and are 14-2 overall.

The Panthers are led by Travis Weatherington who averages 17.2 points per game while teammate Larry McKnight Jr. is averaging 15.3 points per game.

“What a big-time matchup here at Titan Field House!! It’s a matchup of two outstanding teams. We have to be prepared, we have to be ready. We have to do all of the little things to get a W,” Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball coach Jeremy Shulman said.

“If you’re a fan of big-time basketball, this is one you have to see!”

Brewton comes into the contest averaging 21.9 points per game which is second best in Region 8. Teammate Ahmed Ali comes in averaging 16 points per game.
