RV Totally Destroyed in Blaze in West Cocoa, Quick Action of BCFR Engine 44 Saves Home

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue units responded to a recreational vehicle fire in the 4900 block of Shade Tree Street in West Cocoa Sunday morning.

Brevard County Fire Rescue said arriving crews E29, E44, E48, R44, D40 and D45 found a working RV fire with direct flame impingement onto the home.

“The RV is a total loss and the home sustained only minor damage due to the quick action of Engine 44,” said Brevard County Fire Rescue officials.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
