BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE BEACH, FLORIDA – A woman that walking the along shore in Melbourne Beach stumbled upon a dead shark that washed ashore Monday morning.
The woman told FOX 35 that she normally walks the beach every morning and considers herself an avid surfer so she knows the area well.
The shark had just recently washed ashore and was dead when she found it.
The cause of death is unknown at this time, but Florida Fish and Wildlife may investigate to determine how the shark died.
