Heinz Rewards Student’s Ketchup Packet Design

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – DeLaura Middle School student Jamie Green was recently awarded the eighth grade division of the Heinz Ketchup National Creativity Contest for her innovative ketchup packet design.
The contest submissions were formulated in conjunction with Green’s art teacher, Ms. Vikki Thacker, for her graphic design instructional unit.
Heinz is awarding $1,000 to Green and $1,000 will be donated by the company to DeLaura art department for materials and supplies.
In addition, $1,000 worth of ketchup packets will be given to the DeLaura school cafeteria.
