BREVARD COUNTY • INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, Fla. — Margarita Island continues to attract diners from across the Space Coast with its bold flavors, lively atmosphere, and a menu that delivers both savory favorites and indulgent desserts, and is set to open its third Brevard location next month in Indian Harbor Beach.

The new restaurant, planned for 445 E. Eau Gallie Blvd., will take over the former Masa Taqueria y Cantina space and marks the company’s third location in Brevard County and sixth statewide.

The opening is expected sometime in May, according to Margarita Island’s spokesperson, Elizabeth Sanchez.

Margarita Island’s latest addition underscores ongoing growth in the Space Coast dining scene, where several new concepts and national chains have announced openings in recent months.

“We are excited to announce the opening of our newest location, continuing our mission to bring a vibrant, tropical Mexican dining experience,” said Sanchez.

“We are inspired by the flavors and atmosphere of coastal Mexico, like Cozumel, blending Mexican cuisine with an island-style ambiance, and are proud to continue investing in the local community.”

The new restaurant will feature a menu that blends traditional Mexican fare with coastal influences, offering items such as bacon, goat cheese, chiles toreados, and Ixtapa chipotle salmon.

Diners can also expect familiar favorites, including fajitas, quesadillas, and taco salads.

In addition to its food offerings, Margarita Island will include a full-service bar, serving a variety of specialty cocktails. Signature drinks will include margaritas, mezcal-based cocktails known as mezcaritas, and Mexican mules.

The Indian Harbor Beach location follows the brand’s continued investment in Brevard County, where population growth and tourism have fueled demand for new dining options.

With its island-inspired concept and expanded footprint, Margarita Island aims to further establish itself as a staple in the local restaurant landscape when doors open later this spring.

With two locations open in Brevard County at 777 E. Merritt Island Causeway and 5360 Stadium Pkwy. in Viera, the restaurant has quickly built a reputation for its popular birria tacos—slow-cooked, tender beef tucked into crispy tortillas with melted cheese, served with rich consommé for dipping.

The dish has become a standout favorite among local customers.
